What it does
Window sticker tools print and publish the labels that go on every vehicle. These include Monroney label reprints for new cars, dealer addendums for added equipment and pricing, and the FTC Used Car Rule Buyers Guide for used units. Many also create digital versions that show on the website and through a QR code on the window.
Stickers are a compliance document as much as a marketing one. Addendum items must be real, priced clearly and consistent with what is advertised. State rules are adding pressure. California's CARS Act, for example, tightens how optional add-ons are priced and disclosed.
Look for tools that pull data directly from inventory and pricing so the sticker, website and ads match. Version history helps when a customer or regulator asks what a label said on a given day.
